Synergy Sound Healing Training Certification
Welcome to the world of sound! Sound healing is a practice that uses different sound frequencies to promote healing and relaxation in the body and mind. It involves instruments like singing bowls, gongs, drums, and so many more that are believed to resonate with the body’s energy centers, aiming to restore balance and well-being.
Sound Healing training involves learning the principles and techniques of using sound for therapeutic purposes.
Here’s how our Synergy Sound Training series works:
We will begin with Foundations of Sound, and each month we will offer another training focusing on different areas of sound healing. (Classes listed below) All to include a complete understanding of the history, use, techniques and benefits of singing bowls, gongs, drums, chimes and many more sound healing instruments. There will be a LOT of valuable information in these classes, and you will leave with a great understanding of the world of sound!
Foundations of Sound will include: An introduction to the many instruments of sound healing, the history of Sound and how sound healing works, the many benefits of sound therapy as well as the spiritual significance and science behind sound healing – and so much more. You will have the opportunity to listen to and play a large variety of sound healing instruments during this class.
This Foundations class is the first of six sound training classes offered at Synergy.
This training includes a set of three crystal singing bowls, yours to keep!
Your will receive your set of singing bowls upon completion of payment. If payment is made in full in the beginning, you will receive them during the singing bowl class. If it is made monthly, you will receive them at the end of the final class!
Over the course of 6 months (6 classes), you will learn how to use/play singing bowls (both metal and crystal), gongs, various drums (including the ocean drum), rain sticks, chimes, to only name a few! -you will learn how to use different instruments for your own well-being as well as how to offer one on one sound sessions for others, and how to offer a sound bath using many instruments, for larger groups. Including how to work with others in a sound bath environment. We will also cover how to get started if you’re interested in offering sound professionally.
Once you have completed all six classes, you will receive your certification in Sound Healing.
Each class will be approximately four hours long and will be held 11-3pm. You will have a lot of opportunity to play and practice with a large variety of sound healing instruments! Laura will guide you through different techniques and styles!
Pricing for Synergy’s Sound Healing Training is as follows:
Regular pay as you go rate for complete program: $1200 (made in 6 equal payments of $200 per class)

To receive the completion certificate of a total of 24 hours of Sound Training, and be certified in sound healing, you will need to complete all 6 classes. (If for any reason you have a scheduling conflict with any dates -we will be offering all of these classes on rotation, so there will be other opportunities to take any class that gets missed) Please check calendar for the exact dates.
Your Instructor: Laura Sebastian, LMT, LE
Laura is a highly skilled and deeply committed practitioner in the realms of Sound Healing and Reiki, with master-level training in both disciplines, though she refrains from claiming ‘mastery’ over anything. In addition to her expertise in energy work, Laura is also a Licensed Massage Therapist and Licensed Esthetician, as well as an Art Meditation instructor, bringing a rich and varied background to her holistic practice.
Having completed an array of sound healing courses and immersive trainings, Laura has honed her craft by leading numerous group sound baths and offering personalized sound healing sessions throughout Connecticut. Her extensive experience has not only deepened her knowledge but has also led her to curate an impressive and diverse collection of sound healing instruments, each chosen for its unique vibrational qualities.
Laura’s versatility shines in her ability to seamlessly navigate between facilitating large group experiences, providing intimate one-on-one sessions, and guiding others through Sound Healing Training programs. With her wealth of experience and passion for the transformative power of sound, Laura is now eager to share her insights and wisdom with those ready to explore the healing potential of sound.
